Langley and Sons Locomotive "Climax" hauling logs on the tramline across one of the many bridges that had to be constructed to get huge logs to their sawmill at Langley Vale.

The extensive Taree Forestry District once had a total of 52 sawmills in its vast area extending from Raymond Terrace to Crescent Head and out to Singleton in the west.
