The Manning Valley Historical Society

Albert Worthing conducted an ice cream parlor and bakery from this building, constructed in 1905 in Isabella Street, Wingham.  Upstairs was available for wedding receptions, etc.  Worthing also held the Morris Car Dealership in Wingham and conducted a car hire service. 

The building is now occupied by a Pizza Shop and a Music Store.  It survived the 1928 fire in Isabella Street.  The building remained in the Worthing family until the death of Albert’s daughter Win Burgess in 1991.
